Henry T. “Buddy” Clark IV
Buddy entered the insurance world in 1991, immediately after graduating from Bowie High School. He learned the business from the bottom up under the tutelage of an acutely skilled and highly successful insurance advisor, his father, Buddy Clark III. Over the next fourteen years, Buddy helped his father grow their firm into a top performer and perennial award winner with Erie Insurance Group. With 30+ years in the insurance business, Buddy has continued to exceed expectations of his clients and the carriers he represents. Earning his CIC in 2009, and attending continuing education classes that surpass state requirements, shows his continued commitment to bettering his education in the field.
Buddy and his family live in Stevensville Maryland. A childhood spent mostly in Champaign, Illinois has made him a lifelong fan of University of Illinois football, baseball and basketball as well as continuing to be an avid Chicago Cubs & Chicago Bears fan. His hobbies include fishing, golfing, duckpin bowling and traveling.

Emily joined Clark Insurance Agency in early 2021. She is a licensed agent in Property & Casualty and Life & Heath.
Before joining our team she taught Kindergarten and Pre-K for 8yrs. When not at work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two children by taking weekend trips, going to the beach, and boating.
Roy Hottel
Roy joined our team in January of 2026. Roy has over thirty years of experience in the insurance and investment business with a focus on life insurance and retirement planning. He is a graduate of St. Mary’s College of Maryland with a degree in Economics. He also holds his CRPC Designation so he can better serve his clients. He grew up in Annapolis and currently lives on Kent Island with his wife and two children. We know he will be a great asset in serving our clients and helping them meet the their life insurance and retirement planning needs.
